Cameron Art Museum receives three grants

The Cameron Art Museum just got a sizeable financial shot in the arm today. Thanks to the North Carolina Arts Council, the museum has received three separate grants, totaling $75,000.

The money will go toward expanding educational programs for kids and seniors, and a Minnie Evans Research Center.

Mort Neblett, a Cameron Art Museum board member said, “What it says is you’re doing the right thing. You are a fun place, you are a destination you are for the public and our attendance is growing thanks to this, and thanks to our supporters of whom there are many.”

The bulk of the grant will go toward expanding general exhibits.
