Airport energy concerns…

Aviation officials are moving forward in their attempts to find alternative fuel sources.

In July, airport officials from across the country formed a task force to address the issue of rising fuel costs that were threatening the future of hundreds of small airports.

The group has since drafted a bill to send to Congress addressing alternative fuel sources, conservation methods and tapping into US oil reserves.

According to the ILM director, the bill is now and the hands of Congress and will be discussed after the election.
