Sheriff’s Office investigating death in Castle Hayne

CASTLE HAYNE, NC (WWAY) — The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call around 8 a.m. Saturday morning regarding a death on Parmele Road.

Lt. Jerry Brewer said a woman was found dead inside a home. He said there is no threat to the public.

The death investigation as to what happened  is ongoing.
