Suspicious package investigated in Wilmington office

Workers at New Hanover Regional Business Center had an unplanned break this morning.

Employees were forced to evacuate after someone saw what they thought was a suspicious item in an office.

Special police and crime scene investigators were called in to investigate. They secured the area around the building until they could determine what the object was.

Turns out it was something accidentally left behind by pest control workers.
