One child in hospital after crash near Surf City

SURF CITY (WWAY) — One car flipped on its side during a crash at the intersection of Highway 17 and US 210 near Surf City.

Surf City Police a child had to go to the hospital because of the accident. Everyone else walked away from the crash unhurt.

Police say the driver of a pick-up truck failed to yield while turning left, slamming into an SUV a family of five was in.
