Flu shot clinics opening
It is just about flu season, a dangerous time of year for many people, but you can fight back.
Throughout the next two weeks, Pender Memorial Hospital nurses will be administering flu and pneumonia vaccines at several locations throughout Pender County. The flu vaccine is $25 and the pneumonia vaccine is $50.
You can save your receipt to file with your insurance company. The vaccines are free for those on Medicare and Medicaid.
”It’s very important to get your flu shot before the flu season begins. You want to protect yourself, your family your loved ones,” said Jeanette Dion, a registered nurse at PMH.
Flu and pneumonia vaccines are being offered tomorrow morning at Pender Memorial Hospital.
For a full list of the vaccine locations, dates and times go to the Pender Memorial Hospital website.
