Parts of Market Street to close next week

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Drivers who use Market Street will need to find an alternate route parts of next week due to tree maintenance.

A City of Wilmington spokeswoman said the work will be on October 26 through 30 in the area between 17th and 21st streets.

The road will be closed each day from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. so crews can work in a safer, more time-efficient way, the spokeswoman said.
