Infant found in garbage truck

An Onslow County garbage truck driver made a gruesome discovery in the back of his truck.

Around 7:00 am Monday, the driver found the body of a newborn baby while making a stop on Crystal Lane in Hubert.

Detectives at the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office are investigating and said a person of interest has been identified. If you have any information please call the sheriff’s office at (910) 455-3113.
