CFCC holds annual Harvest Health, Wellness and Safety Fair
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — CFCC is holding their annual Harvest Health, Wellness and Safety Fair today.
Attendees can get tips on fire prevention and financial protection, sample and learn about nutritious food, and even get a chiropractic adjustment. Health professionals are also on site to give free and confidential HIV tests as well as CPR demonstrations. You can also get more information on the various health and science programs offered at CFCC.
Brittany Stein, a student in the phlebotomy program at CFCC, says she joined the program after attending last year’s fair.
“It really is a good chance for you to come out and ask questions, and it’s more relaxed than going to an orientation or a seminar,” said Stein.
The event will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in CFCC’s Union Station. Organizers ask that attendees bring a canned food item to donate to the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina.
