New Hanover Regional receives ‘A’ in patient projection


WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — New Hanover Regional Medical Center has been given an A grade in a score that rates how well hospitals protect patients from accidents, errors, injuries and infections.

The grade is part of the Hospital Safety Score and NHRMC was among 773 hospitals to receive that grade; 2,530 hospitals were graded.

The Hospital Safety Score uses 28 measures of publicly available hospital safety data to produce a letter grade.
