Leland offers trunk-or-treat option

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — For those looking for an alternative to traditional trick-or-treating the town of Leland is giving residents the option to trunk-or-treat today.

Local businesses and organizations will be participating in the fun by decorating cars and passing out candy.

Organizers are expecting several thousand parents and costume-clad children to come out to get their share of treats. The free event will take place at Leland Municipal Park from 4 to 6 p.m.
