More sea turtles released back into wild

SURF CITY, NC (WWAY) — Six sea turtles are back home now.

According to a news release on Tuesday afternoon, workers with the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center released the animals back into the wild.

The turtles spent some time at the facility recovering.
