Brigade Boys and Girls Club hires a new director

The Brigade Boys and Girls Club of Wilmington have hired a new director.

Jeffery Green is currently the Transylvania County Boys and Girls Club Executive Director. He will be Wilmington’s Director starting December 1, 2008.

He has worked with a couple different Boys and Girls Clubs in North Carolina over the past 8 years. Green, will be responsible for managing and planning the operation of the club.

Boys and Girls Club board member, Scott Cromartie said, “Not really expecting any changes any organizations evolve through time but we really don’t expect any changes at this point, no.”

The former director of the Brigade Boys and Girls Club had to leave because of the nepotism clause, which keeps family members from working together to prevent favoritism.
