Police looking for men in armed robbery, shooting

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Police are looking for two men who robbed another man before shooting at him while running away.

Police said it was reported last night around 11 p.m. at the intersection of 13th and Dock streets. They said a man was walking along when two men started to follow him and ask him to use his phone. When he said he did not have one, they pointed a gun at him and took the phone and bag. As the suspect were running off, one shot at the victim toward the ground and shot a second time around 14th Street. The victim wasn’t hurt.

Police said the victim described the men as two black males between the ages of 16 and 20, one wearing a red jacket with a mustache and the other wearing a yellow hooded sweatshirt. Call WPD if you have info.
