Train lovers all aboard this weekend at the Coastline Convention Center

It was all aboard this weekend at the Coastline Convention Center. Train lovers were on hand to view trains of all sizes.

Organizers said a few hundred people attended the weekend long event. People there said they love to see the hobby passed on to younger generations.

“This is a vintage train set that I received for Christmas in 1980 when I was about 8 years old. Ever since then trains have been just magical for me at Christmas time and my children love it,” said Chris Lowery.

Some seasoned conductors even took the time to give the kids a lesson. Many who attended the event said there’s nothing better then a toy train set around the holidays.
