UNCW to honor retired coach and AD

The UNC Wilmington athletic department is recognizing one of it’s own.

Retired coach and athletic director Bill Brooks will be honored during a special halftime presentation Wednesday.

Brooks oversaw UNCW’s athletic fortunes from 1951-91, helping the Seahawks rise from a junior college power to their current status at the NCAA Division I level.
