Investigators say the charges stem from a shooting that occurred at Kent Place Apartments in Whiteville on Nov. 3. They say Kelly’s second assault charge was related to a shooting that occurred on Pinewood Drive in Whiteville.

Police say they also arrested Sadler’s brother Deonde Sadler, 22, for interfering with police and disorderly conduct.
