EXTRAORDINARY PEOPLE: Finishing the 24 hour straight obstacle course

LAS VEGAS, NV (WWAY) — One of our recent Extraordinary People of the Week just finished one of the biggest challenges of his life….a 24 hour race called the World’s Toughest Mudder competition.

Steven Shade placed 87th out of 1141 competitors!  WOWSERS!!  ​

Here’s his final stats: 11 laps(of a 5 mile obstacle course) for a total of 55 miles.  He was  87th overall out of 1141, 26th age group out of 232.

His friends Aimee Flint finished with 45 miles,357 overall, 7th age group and Mike Thompson finished with 40 miles 399 overall, 83rd age group.
