International Paper to cut jobs by the end of the year
International Paper plans to cut up to 1,500 jobs by the end of next year. The Tennessee-based company will cut mostly salaried positions.
A company spokesperson said the Rieglewood plant is not expected to be affected, since most Rieglewood employees are hourly.
International Paper is cutting back at several of its facilities because of a decrease in demand for paper products.
