Southport police investigating alcohol theft

SOUTHPORT, NC (WWAY) — Investigators with the Southport Police Department are looking for two men accused of stealing some brews.

Police said the two men pictured took beer and wine from the Kangaroo on Howe Street in Southport on September 7. The theft was reported around 1 a.m.

According to the police report, the employee told police one of the men was a regular customer but she didn’t know the man’s name.
