A Dr. Suess party held for Sunset Park students

Hundreds of students at Sunset Park Elementary School were rewarded for good behavior today.

Over the school year, the students were given tokens for good behavior. If they had enough tokens, they could attend the Seuss Party, where Murray Middle School students dressed like Dr. Seuss characters – performed for them, and helped them with arts and crafts.

Michael Rivers, a Sunset Park 3rd grader, said, “I liked the chocolate pretzel dipping because I like sugar!”

This is the second year the students have been rewarded for their good behavior. They plan to have another celebration for well behaved students again next year.
