Some ate their Christmas dinner with chopsticks

If you took a holiday from the kitchen, and wanted to grab a bite to eat on Christmas, chances are you only had a couple restaurants in town to choose from.

“Nothing was open, this was my only option,” said Sharon Stone.

Liz Tellefsen said, “We didn’t have any food, all the grocery stores were closed, and we had to come out somewhere, and this was pretty much the only place open.”

They are talking Chinese. For those who chose not to cook Christmas dinner, they sat down, took out their chopsticks, and enjoyed endless Chinese choices.

“We cooked for Thanksgiving, so we came here and had a meal cooked for us,” Richard Brantley said.

Not to mention, saving on some major cleanup. “We just decided not to cook this year. Just a relaxed Christmas Day where I didn’t have to worry about washing dishes,” said Stone.

For some diners, egg rolls trumped the traditional Christmas ham. No better way to celebrate the Christmas holiday, than with good “fortune”.

Some diners said Chinese food on Christmas may become a holiday tradition.
