Wrightsville Beach Museum closes for a face lift

The Wrightsville Beach Museum closed Tuesday for a face-lift. The museum will be closed from Tuesday until January 21st.

During that time, the Wrightsville Beach Coast Guard members will be volunteering their time to help repair the museum. It is scheduled to re-open on January 22nd.

“We’re going to revamp just a little bit. I would like to include just a little bit more modernized Wrightsville Beach 1910, said LuAnn Mims, museum director.

The Wrightsville Beach Museum will re-open just in time to celebrate the building’s 100th birthday.
