NC to release Web portal for business questions

RALEIGH — North Carolina’s commerce leaders are providing a central location for state workers and executives to find information about business.

Department of Commerce Secretary Jim Fain and other state officials will announce the new support service at a Wednesday meeting. The state has been working to develop a Web portal so that businesses or people interested in starting a business can get their questions answered quickly.

The Web portal will also have a toll-free phone number to answer questions.
