Snow causes rescheduling for local schools

Now that the snow days are over, kids and parents alike are probably wondering when they will have to make up the lost school days.

Here is what WWAY found out:

Bladen County kids will go to school Thursday and Friday, with early release on Friday. They were supposed to have the days off.

Brunswick County was scheduled off for the inauguration on Tuesday. They will likely make up Wednesday’s miss on February 16, a teacher work day, but that won’t be finalized until Monday.

Columbus County students do not have to worry. They were already scheduled to be off.

New Hanover and Pender are still deciding how to make up the lost days.
