Dr. Robert Perry cleared of all charges

An Ogden doctor will not face charges in Gaston County, because of insufficient evidence.

Dr. Robert Perry faced four counts of obtaining property by false pretense, and one count of prescribing a controlled substance without a legal medical purpose.

Perry surrendered his medical license in the midst of legal troubles.

The doctor closed the Pee-Dee Clinic he ran in Ogden, citing ongoing health problems.

Perry could not be reached for comment.
