Laurean’s home up for auction

The former home of a marine corporal accused of killing a pregnant colleague is going up for auction.

Corporal Cesar Laurean’s ranch-style house had an opening bid of about $102,000. Laurean has been charged with killing Lance Corporal Maria Lauterbach, but has been fighting extradition from Mexico.

Onslow County investigators found Lauterbach’s charred remains in Laurean’s backyard.
