Winter Wine Walk in downtown Wilmington

Ten downtown Wilmington restaurants and bars opened their doors for the Winter Wine Walk.

Crowds of wine and beer connoisseurs stopped in each location for tastings. The event allowed participants to stroll downtown Wilmington while enjoying what area businesses have to offer.

Scott Simmons of Wilmington said, “We don’t get downtown enough as we’d like, and it’s a great day. It just seemed like a nice kind of affair.”

All the tastings were included in the ticket price of 15 dollars, and all proceeds benefit the Downtown Business Alliance.
