Police say fight over woman led to house being shot

NAVASSA, NC (WWAY) — Navassa Police need help figuring out who shot at a home yesterday.

Investigators say it happened between 3:30 and 5 a.m. at 307 Main Street. They found ten .45 caliber shell casing at the scene and one in a wall.

Police say they think it all it happened after two men fought over a woman at a party at or near the Ramada Inn in Wilmington earlier in the night.
