Onslow County student charged with having weapons on school property

ONSLOW COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A Southwest High School Student was arrested Tuesday morning for having weapons on school property.

Onslow County Sheriff Deputy First Sergeant Jacob Wills, a Resource Officer for the Southwest High School, said Dustin Lee Lannoo had 2 Airsoft Rifles, several packs of fireworks, and 4 BB Pistols located in his personal vehicle parked at Southwest High School.

Deputies transported Lannoo to the Magistrate’s Office, where he was charged.

Lannoo is being held under a $1000 unsecured bond. His first Court Date is Feb. 11/
