It is homecoming weekend for Cape Fear Community College

Cape Fear Community College will be holding it’s Homecoming Weekend. The Alumni Association formed last year, as part of the college’s 50th anniversary, and has been working hard to organize alumni activities.

There is a reception at the Schwartz Center at 6:00 p.m. Friday before the basketball game against Brunswick Community College. It is open to all CFCC alumni.

Alumni Association members are eager to increase involvement within their organization. “If anybody has gotten anything from their education at Cape Fear, just give back, that’s why I’m doing it. We want to give back to a school that for me personally, helped me change my life,” said Dawn Hale.

Alumni Association members hope Friday night’s event leads to more events in the future.
