Elderly Brunswick County man arrested for drug trafficking

An elderly Brunswick County man, once on the county’s most wanted list, is behind bars.

Sixty-nine-year-old Franklin Floyd was arrested shortly before 5:00 pm Tuesday at his house.

He had been featured on the county’s most wanted list when he failed to show up for court for sentencing in January.

Floyd received a sentence of more than 5 years in prison for trafficking opiates.
