Woman dies after being hit by car last week

A woman who was hit by a car while walking along Market Street last week has died.

Thirty-five-year old Nicole Harrison was struck in the 7400 block of Market Street in Ogden the night of February 23.

She had been in the intensive care unit at Chapel Hill and died yesterday afternoon.

Harrison moved from Washington state to Ogden in July with her husband Neil and their four children.

Neil said his wife was a wonderful mother who was full of life. “The key that my wife would want to pass on to other people is to support your community church and to develop a network of people that can support you and appreciate your family and your kids and to live this life to its fullest.”

Neil believes his wife may have been trying to cross the street to go to the store when she was hit.

A service celebrating the life of Nicole Harrison will be held at Olivet Baptist Church in Wrightsboro this Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
