Judge drops lawsuit against Brunswick County School Board

A federal judge has dropped a law suit against the Brunswick County School Board regarding a sexual relationship between a former student and former teacher.

Robert and Kathy Frye sued the school board after their daughter, Kylee, 17 at the time, had a sexual relationship with former West Brunswick High School teacher and coach, David Arrowood in 2006.

The Frye’s claim the board did not discipline Arrowood after learning of his inappropriate behavior with their daughter.

Arrowood has already pleaded guilty to sex crimes in this case, and the Frye’s can still take legal action against him.
