Wilmington Police investigating Friday burglary

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington police are investigating a 1st degree burglary that happened Friday afternoon.

Police say the robbery happened on North 26th Street.

A man said he was at home with his children when he heard a loud bang at his back door. When the man went to see what it was, he says two males, with masks on, punched him in the face and knocked him out.

Other residents arrived at the house and saw the suspects leaving through the front door, before they pulled a gun on the other residents and fled the scene.
