UPDATE: Man arrested in SC in Brunswick Co. larceny investigation

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Deputies said the man wanted in an Ocean Isle Beach larceny investigation was arrested in Horry County, South Carolina.

Deputies with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office are looking for a man they say stole a laptop and then tried to pawn it.

Deputies said they are looking for Joseph Roger Todd, 33, on charges of larceny and conspiring to obtain property by false pretense. They said the incident happened Monday at a home in the Ocean Isle Beach area. According to the arrest warrant, he tried to pawn the computer at the Pawn USA store in Shallotte.

Todd is described as a white male, 6’2″ and about 160 pounds. Anyone with information is asked to contact BCSO.
