New jobs coming to Columbus County

Some good news for folks looking for work in Columbus County.

Atlantic Automotive Enterprises is moving it’s facility from Longs, South Carolina, to Tabor City and plans to create 23 new jobs for the Columbus County town. In addition, the space where the company will be located needs to be renovated, and local contractors will have the opportunity to bid on the project.

The move is expected to pump more than $500,000 into the Columbus County economy. AAE hopes to be open in Tabor City by the end of the year and will be hiring customer service and warehouse staff.
