BOLIVIA, NC (StarNews) — A Leland man charged in a fatal impaired driving crash in 2014 entered Alford pleas Monday in the deaths of his two friends.
An Alford plea means a defendant does not admit guilt, but acknowledges enough evidence exists for a conviction.
Eric Lavon Hill, 27, was charged with two counts of second-degree murder in the Dec. 27, 2014, crash in which Anika Aikman of Wilmington and Jonathan Clark of Leland, were killed.
