UNCW announces installation celebration plans for Chancellor Sartarelli

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The University of North Carolina Wilmington has announced plans for the celebration surrounding the installation of Chancellor Zito Sartarelli.

UNCW today launched a website with information about the installation, which is set for March 31 on the Hoggard Hall Lawn on campus.

The ceremony, which begins at 10:30 a.m., is open to students, faculty, staff, alumni and the community. All guests are invited to attend the picnic on King Hall Lawn and Campus Commons immediately following the ceremony. Both events are free and open to the public, but online registration is needed.

The UNC Board of Governors selected Sartarelli to be chancellor in April 2015. He was the Dean of the College of Business and Economics at West Virginia University at the time,

Sartarelli started in his post in July.
