Want to voice your opinion on state spending?

You can voice your opinion about state spending Tuesday night.

The North Carolina House is hosting a public hearing to get input on the state budget. House members want to hear from regular folks who are not normally engaged in the process.

The meeting is from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in Raleigh. If you do not want to make the drive to Raleigh, there will also be video hookups at several community colleges.

In our area, Bladen Community College will be wired up for the event. The college is located on Highway 41 West in Dublin. The conference starts at 6:00 p.m.
