Chadbourn man charged with intimidating burglary victim

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A Chadbourn man who was already facing charges for burglary is now charged with intimidating the victim in that case.

Mason Troy Nickelson, 19, was arrested Monday for burglarizing a home, according to the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office.

After his release, deputies said Nickelson drove by the home he broke into, yelling threats at both the victim in the burglary and other witnesses.

Nickelson was arrested again Thursday, and is now back in jail under $75,000 bond.
