City of Wilmington’s proposed budget out for next year
The City of Wilmington’s proposed budget for next year is out. It is being touted as a bare bones proposition.
The $80.7 million package is almost seven percent less than this year’s budget. It holds the rate on property taxes at 33.25 cents per one-hundred dollars in assessed property value.
The city manager will present his budget to the City Council at Tuesday’s meeting, which will also include a vote on Monkey Junction annexation.
