New public safety building planned for Wrightsville Beach

Plans to build a new public safety building in Wrightsville Beach are in the works. The space has been approved by the town and it has picked a contractor.

The new building will house the fire department, police department and emergency services. The Board of Alderman will hold a special meeting about the project at 5:00 p.m. Thursday night at town hall. They will finalize some details before closing on a loan to pay for the building.
