UNCW garden adds beauty to memorial wall

The UNCW campus is already beautiful, and Wednesday it got even more colorful.

A grant from the Cape Fear Garden Club is being used towards a new garden on campus.
The garden is located near the Fisher University Union, at a memorial wall that was a gift from the class of 2001. The wall has the names of those donors who contributed to the gift.

A group of students felt that the wall needed something else. After winning the grant, the students got to work on planting.

All of the plants in the garden are native to North Carolina, including several different types of azaleas.
