Oak Island couple featured on America’s Funniest Videos Sunday

OAK ISLAND, NC (WWAY) — An Oak Island couple will soon provide laughs to the country as contestants on America’s Funniest Home Videos.

When Marni Lee posted a video to her Facebook page of her husband, Paul, laughing in his sleep, it went viral. You’ll be able to see him on AFV Sunday night at 7 p.m. on ABC.

The couple even got a chance to fly to California to see the show in person. The couple said it’s been a once in a lifetime experience, and they have enjoyed every minute of it.

“It’s been one heck of a conversation piece for the past month now, from friends and family all over the globe actually,” Marni Lee said. “It’s really just overwhelming.”

The couple did win a top prize, but their prize will not be announced until the show airs.
