New Hanover County to serve free lunches to kids
Earlier this week, we told you about free lunches available for kids in Brunswick County.
By the end of the month, New Hanover County students will be able to get free lunch as well.
Starting June 30th, nutritional meals will be provided to all kids at no charge. Lunches will take place at a number of schools, community centers and housing developments around town.
Meals will be provided at the following Wilmington locations at the specified times. Starting on June 30th, these nutrition sites begin operating Monday – Thursday.

11:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.
Derrick Davis, 1101 Manley Avenue
12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m., lunch will be served
