Police investigating armed robbery at Krazy Pizza

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are trying to find the man who robbed a restaurant after it closed.

Police said the Krazy Pizza in the 1600-block of Shipyard Boulevard was robbed last night around 11:30 p.m. Police said a man approached an employee taking out the trash and force the employee back inside.

Police said an unknown amount of cash was taken from the business. No word on if this robbery is linked to a similar incident that happened an hour earlier on Market Street.
