Camp doesn’t bug kids
The Cape Fear Museum’s incredible insect campers were buzzing with excitement Friday morning.
Children marched in an insect parade for their final day of bug camp. They created their own bug costumes to wear for the occasion, complete with antennas, compound eyes, wings and exoskeletons.
The campers performed what they learned this week by singing about different insects.
“I learned about almost every kind of bug ever,” said Andrew Penny.
The children dressed like their favorite bugs, everything from ladybugs, and butterflies, to houseflies.
