WPD investigates midday shooting

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting this afternoon.

It happened near 13th and Castle streets shortly after 1 p.m.

Police say several shots were fired, and one man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
