Leland man charged with raping, assaulting girl; Bond now set at more than $7 million

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (StarNewsOnline.com / WWAY) — After appearing in court today, 22-year-old Denzel Jamal Hill's bond was set at more than $7 million.  He's charged with assaulted a female friend with a cigarette lighter and then later raping her.

Hill, according to arrest documents, had sex with the unidentified 15-year-old victim and allegedly conducted various sexual acts with her. The alleged incidents happened July 16.
